The last time I was looking at lappies - 3 years ago - I wanted to buy a touchpad (formerly tablet PCs?) but they retailed then for around $2600 for the basic model! To thin that the tochpad nowdays can be bought for under a grand is incredible. And even a standard sized touchpad is under $2K! Too bad I already have an awesome HP laptop now...otherwise, I would imagine I'd be in the store right now buying one.

I love the new designs HP are using now with their laptops. I have a 2006 business laptop which is fairly chunky even for a 15.4" and weighs around 2.5kg.

Nowdays, it looks like you can get the same thing for around half the weight and price with double the specs. The entertainment notebook looks very swish, with an attractive price tag. Have to check the individual specs though, cause a decent laptop like that shouldn't be so cheap...
