The "Jetman," Yves Rossy, is probably the only person on the planet who can claim to have flown alongside L-39 Albatross jets - or any type of jet for that matter. Check out the video of the moment Rossy soars alongside jet pilots, attached to his jet engine powered carbon wing.

Initially a military pilot, Yves Rossy desired the ultimate form of natural flight - outside of a jet or aircraft. To this end, he began development of a jet wing in 2004, and has since flown over the Swiss Alps and across the English Channel.

The wing has an average speed of 200 km/h, and can fly at speeds of up to 300 km/h on a descent. The craft can fly for ten minutes, before Rossy deploys a parachute to land safely on the ground.
