Men and women approach technology differently – everyone knows this. But new statistics released from UK-based tech support service, Gadget Helpline, provides some eye-opening evidence of what men and women do around technology, and how their behaviour deviates.

Of 75,000 calls received between September and October this year, 64 per cent of men and 24 per cent of women calling had not even bothered reading the instruction manual that came with the computers or gadgets they’re calling about. 12 per cent and 7 per cent of women haven’t even tried doing the simplest of things before calling – such as plugging in power point or switching the device on.
