JAL outdoes US Airways in the ?Look what we can suck into our engines without injuring any passengers? game?
While the container is a lot larger than the flock of Canadian geese that a US Airways flight managed to suck into it?s engines after taking off from La Guardia Airport in New York, we?re not sure the JAL flight could have performed a graceful a water landing had the emergency taken place on take off. A 747-400 is just a tiny bit bigger than an Airbus A320.
Now, would someone from LAN Airlines like to say how one of their containers ended up in the JAL 747???
