Cisco’s pocket web-video recorder, the Flip, has received an update, with the new Flip MinoHD being announced for release. The new model can now record up to 120 minutes of video, which you can play back on a larger LCD screen. While the previous model felt a little like a toy with its clear plastic finish, the MinoHD has a sturdier brushed-metal frame.
We’re expecting review units to come in soon, but given how crowded the market for pocket web video cameras has become since the original Flip was released, it’ll be interesting to see how this new Flip performs. If you’re game to run out and get one anyway, they’re available for $299.95.
