Adobe is partnering with Nvidia to take screen-based visual arts to the next level. Project Wetbrush is a proposed paint simulator that will mimic the texture, viscosity, and "bristle-level" interactions that you'd get from real paint on a real canvas.

It's rare that we get extended footage of autonomous cars driving in a a series of situations. Nvidia, the technology company that makes graphics cards and computers for autonomous car development, published a paper detailing a new system of deep learning that teaches itself how to drive with "minimum training data from humans." The paper also included video footage, of which we are pleased to present the highlights.

Nvidia isn't a company everyone necessarily knows; they've long been known for graphics hardware, but have recently branched out into mobile silicon with the Tegra line of combination CPU/GPU processors, which are used in some Android tablets and smartphones. Last night they combined those two specialties and added a hefty dose of wild, optimistic insanity, announcing a portable gaming system currently code-named "Project Shield."
