Design your Own Golf Clubs With Lind Golf

One club, 50 million options! Lind Golf thinks it has the solution to your boring set of clubs

The Australian owned company has just launched a website that lets you create your own design for your clubs and bags. Each club is custom fit to your own individual measurements and created using components from well-respected golf manufacturers. You can customise each club with colours, logos and artwork, as well as creating bags with iPod sections and names embroidered on them.

They reckon that there are over 50 million different customisation possibilities, which would mean that you should be able to create a completely unique set of clubs. Just check out the designs above to see what you can do with the colours alone. Each club can also be customised to your size and weight to give you the ultimate golfing experience.

The chaps at Lind Golf are pretty intent on proving that their product is the ultimate golfing experience, so they got in touch with Popular Science and shipped us out a few of our very own customised clubs. Popular Science magazine editor Kevin Cheung was fitted out and will be taking his new clubs for a test swing this weekend.

Very clever Lind Golf, send out a press release with amazing claims, back it up with some great photos, and send us some clubs to test for ourselves that are tailored to us. Just one problem you didn’t anticipate… we’re crap at golf!

(In Lind’s defence though, they did offer to ship out a professional player as well - seriously! But we declined. We would rather keep our embarrassment to ourselves).

You can check it all out at the Lind Golf website: http://www.lindgolf.com.
