That’s right. It’s as simple as picking the issue you like, telling us where to send it, and then sitting back and waiting for the postman!

Pick an issue, any issue (from the above only though...) Popular Science Australia

THANKS FOR THE TREMENDOUS FEEDBACK READERS. YOUR QUICK RESPONSE HAS NOW LEFT US WITH NO FURTHER COPIES TO SEND OUT. HOWEVER, THERE WILL BE MORE PROMOTIONS LIKE THIS IN THE FUTURE SO STAY TUNED. IF YOU GOT YOUR SURVEY IN BEFORE 9AM TODAY CHANCES ARE YOU'VE SCORED YOURSELF A FREE MAGAZINE. OVER 1,000 OF YOU WILL GET ONE.

We do some ridiculous things in the Popular Science offices. We froze a phone in a freezer, threw a digital camera out the window into the car park below, and sent a salamander to the moon. That last one was a lie. Now for our latest trick, we’re going to giveaway copies of the magazine… To you… For free. I think that’s pretty clear now.

You read correctly. You could be holding a nice, crisp, FREE, issue of Popular Science in your hands very soon (depending on Australia Post that is, so expect it to be delivered sometime between the day after you knock us up for a mag and 2017). All you have to do is fill out a very quick survey. WAIT! We know what you’re thinking. The survey will take two hours and requires your credit card details and passport number. Well, no. The survey will take a couple of minutes and requires you to answer two questions, one of which is telling us which issue you want sent to you.

So pretty simply, it’s rather simple. You get a free magazine, we clear up some space in the office to keep the monkey we just trained to make us coffee and everyone is happy.

Don’t forget, you can get the latest issue of Popular Science (you’ll have to pay for that one though) in all good newsagents and some supermarkets too.

Enjoy your free issue of Popular Science!

P.S. We lied about the monkey too. It doesn’t need space, we keep it in a cage tethered to the roof. OK, that too was a lie. We don’t have a monkey, aside from our designer Chris. We didn’t lie about your free copy of Popular Science though so stop reading this dribble and hit the survey link. By the way we don't condone animal cruelty.

P.P.S. We'll be sending out free copies until stocks run out, so be quick. Strictly one issue per person, per address. Australian and New Zealand residents and addresses only.
